The Main Street Circle, where Roebling's water tower once stood, is a significant an area of focus for the entire community, as well as the Garden Club. No matter what time of the year, the circle is beautifully decorated by its many volunteers.

During the Roebling Garden Club Annual Flower Fund-Raiser, flowers are purchased with generous donations in the memory of hundreds of current and former residents remembered and honored by their loved ones.  National Honor Society Students of Florence Township Memorial High School help plant flowers in the spring.

The Roebling Garden Club sponsored the Dr. J. Howard Hornberger Memorial Monument dedication ceremony on September 30th at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Florence.  Dr. J. Howard Hornberger, who for forty years served the Village of Roebling as a physician for the town, the Steel Mill, and the schools, passed away in 1968.  Although he has a road named after him, he has never had a marker placed at his gravesite in the Cemetery. The Roebling Garden Club solicited donations to purchase and erect a memorial monument to honor this pillar of the community.  Also, a booklet was prepared that includes many memories and stories about people's relationship with Dr. Hornberger.  Current and former residents attended, as well as many members of the Hornberger family.  Thank You to everyone that contributed.

Finally, the Roebling Garden Club maintains two areas of pride in the Village.

A slice of Roebling's famous wire cable, a replica of the cable used on the Golden Gate Bridge, sits outside the library on Hornberger Avenue. Flowers and shrubs were planted around this landmark example of Roebling's Steel Mill contribution.

The memorial monument, located in Roebling Park, was donated in 1930 by the citizens of Roebling in commemoration of the founding of the town.  This landmark is constantly surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers, courtesy of the Roebling Garden Club.
